The Elite of Francophonie Women
With an interest in developing women’s economic empowerment and capacity-building in the field of business, IBDL Foundation will sponsor the celebration of Francophonie Women International Day. This gala is held in collaboration with The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Egypt, Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the Senghor University of Alexandria. Along with the gala, an international conference entitled "Regards croisés des femmes francophones Nord-Sud" will be held as well.
The five-session conference will cover a variety of topics about Francophonie women, politics, economics, the media, education, health, and medicine. Gathering-up elite Egyptian, Arab, African, European and Francophonie figures, the conference will be shedding light on the most successful achievements of women today, who participate eagerly in all areas of human activity. Francophonie women particularly play a crucial role in the French-speaking communities and countries across five continents, where they struggle continuously in a world ruled by a web of infinite personal interests and conflicts.
It is worth mentioning that Bibliotheca Alexandrina celebrates its 15th anniversary this year, while The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Egypt celebrates its Silver Jubilee.
Within the framework of IBDL’s devotion to women’s empowerment, IBDL offers the training and examination of the international professional certificate "IBDL Essential" in French.
Also, Dr. Mohamed Galal - Head of French Department in IBDL, is expected to give a speech regarding the role of international professional certificates in the
economic empowerment of women. This gala will be held on the 15th and the 16th of March, 2017 in Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Alexandria, Egypt.
